Fisherman’s Checklist

- Proof of Ctitizenship (Birth Certificate, Passport, Vover Registration) Original Only
-Prescription Medications (in original pharmacy containers)
-2 or 3 bait casting or spinning rods and reels---medium to heavy
-20 lb. test line is a minimum (Trilene XT Abrasion Resistant is ideal)
-Rattle Traps 1/2 oz. in chrome/blue, chrome/black, orange/red, and fire tiger
-Spinner Baits--chrome/gold twin blade in white chartreuse, white, chartreuse, black plus any combinations of these colors in 1/2 - 3/4 oz.
-Buzz Baits--chartreuse and white 1/2 - 3/4 oz.
-Worms--6-12” scented if possible in watermelon, watermelon seed, pumkin seed, green pumkin, red shad, tequilla sunrise plus any combinations and other dark colors.
-Lizards--6-12” scented if possible in watermelon, watermelon seed, pumkin seed, green pumkin, red shad, tequilla sunrise plus any combinations and other dark colors.
-Hooks--offset 3/0-4/0 (buy the best you can)
-Weights--5/16 - 1/2 oz. bullet type
-Flukes--white, baby bass and other bait fish colors.
-Sluggos--green, yellow, off white.
-Crankbaits--deep and medium divers, .
-Topwaters--Bomber Long and Fat A, Zara Spooks, torpedo types in chrome and baitfish colors plus fire tiger.
-Shampoo, bath soap, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat or cap, lib balm, bathing suit and sandals, tennis or deck shoes for fishing, sunglasses(polarized), pocket knife, hand towel, small first aid kit, camera and film, tape measure, and a lightweight rainsuit or poncho.

Departure And Arrival Information

We recommend flight arrival and departure into Valley International Airport in Harlingen, TX, (HRL) between the hours of 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. Please fax or e-mail your itinerary 30 days prior to arrival.

Amounts include tipping for the fishing guide, cook, waiter, van driver, and house keeper.Tips are be turned in to the camp adminstrator at the end of your trip to insure that each member recieves his/her fair share.
